What is SEO?
Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) is the process by which websites are ‘tuned’ to make them rank higher in natural search engine results listings.
An effective SEO strategy starts with the thorough research and analysis of a website, its market and its competition. Using the data generated by the research, targeted changes are made to the website’s content and meta-data, and a network of high quality
inbound links (also called backlinks or external links) is established.
Following the content optimisation and link building processes, the effectiveness of the website’s SEO strategy is monitored on a rolling basis through the use of website analytics software, such as Google Analytics. The data revealed by the web analytics then dictates the future direction of the SEO strategy, with further content optimisation and link building conducted as and when necessary.
Our SEO process:
- Research – getting under the skin of the website and its market
- Optimise - using targeted keywords and long-tail phrases in the website content
- Build – establishing a network of high quality one way links
- Analyse – monitoring the Search Engine Optimisation strategy using SEO tools / SEO software
- Refine – acting on what the web analytics tell us about the strategy’s effectiveness
The main search engines are constantly refining their
algorithms, making it vital for any Search Engine Optimisation strategy to remain adaptable and keep abreast of changes that could affect the ranking of the website in natural search listings.
SEO is a long-term plan for success.

SEO Copywriting
The success of your Search Engine Marketing strategy (or SEM strategy) lies largely in the content of your website.
When combined with a targeted link building campaign, SEO Copywriting can see your website rise up the
organic search listings, attracting targeted traffic and boosting your potential to convert visitors into customers or strong sales leads.
Our experienced web copywriters and journalists can develop targeted website content drawn from in-depth keyword analysis of your target market. By paying attention to both the ‘big’ keywords as well as the more critical
long-tail phrases in your market, our SEO copywriters can ensure that your website contains the same terms that your potential customers type into search engines.
Our web content rules:
- Readability – our SEO copywriters never sacrifice readability for the sake of keywords
- Relevance – we provide valuable web content appropriate to your business
- Format – text attributes are important in SEO copy, and we know how to use them
- Volume - we write enough for SEO purposes, but not too much to be unreadable
- Density – finding the right balance of keyword density is critical. We find the balance

Link Building
Link popularity is the main factor search engines consider when ranking websites, making a targeted link building campaign a core component of any effective SEO strategy.
You can have the most supremely optimised content throughout your site, but if you don’t have a network of relevant, high quality websites linking to you, then your ranking potential is always going to be limited.
Link building (or backlink building) helps boost the PageRank of your site’s web pages, especially if the sites linking to you have a high PageRank of their own. Search engines such as Google see quality inbound links as recommendations as to your site’s quality and authority, and in their quest to provide users with the most relevant websites to their search terms, they rank the sites with the most high quality backlinks and content at the top of their natural search results pages. These high ranking websites receive the most traffic, making the benefits of an SEO link building strategy obvious.
Some of our link building values:
- Targeted – irrelevant backlinks can harm your ranking. We find high quality link sources
- Non-reciprocal – we build backlinks that carry no obligation for you to return the favour
- Researched – we don’t use automated link building software packages
- Ethical – we won’t build links from websites operating in controversial industries
Link building is a minefield for the uninitiated. Low quality backlink sources are detrimental for PageRank and will see your website heading south in
natural search listings. We offer 100%
white hat link building services which can dramatically improve your website’s overall level of SEO.

Web Analytics
Web analytics tools such as Google Analytics can give you the inside line on the effectiveness of your SEO strategy.
The information generated by web analytics software provides the intelligence to steer your SEO campaign, based on real facts and figures about your website traffic.
By learning about your site’s strengths and weaknesses in detail, we can refine your SEO strategy to further enhance your website’s overall standard of Search Engine Optimisation. We use tools like Google Analytics as well as our own advanced in-house tools to reveal exactly who’s coming to your website, what they came for, and where they came from. Once we’ve gathered everything we need to know, we’ll pore over the data and work out the best methods for taking your SEO strategy forward.
Some things our web analytics can tell us about your website:
- First time visitors – the new people coming to your site
- PPC traffic – those visitors arriving via your ‘paid for’ activities
- Search engine referrals – which search engines are sending you traffic
- Other referrers – non-search engine websites linking to you
- Organic search terms – the keywords that are working best for you
The list goes on. Our own in-house SEO tools and methods expand on the data generated by mainstream products such as Google Analytics, allowing us to dig even deeper into your website and identify key points of difference over your competition. Once web analytics have helped us to better understand the behaviour of your users, we can then capitalise on the knowledge by implementing highly targeted refinements such as including critical
long-tail phrases in your website content, to drive quality visitors to your domain.

Introducing M-VAP: our astonishing new website Multivariate Analysis service.
Is your website making the most of the traffic that your SEO, PPC and other internet marketing activities are drawing in? If you’re not doing Multivariate Analysis, then it’s probably not. Too many companies fail to capitalise on the visitors they fight so hard to attract to their websites, due mainly to simple design and layout flaws that hinder the conversion flow and thus hurt their bottom line.
M-VAP can help. Multivariate Analysis (sometimes called multivariate testing and multi-variable testing) can boost sales by plugging the holes in your site, preventing the type of traffic haemorrhage that most of your competitors’ websites suffer from every day.
How Multivariate Analysis works
Multivariate Analysis involves simultaneously testing numerous variations of your webpages in order to ascertain which layouts and designs are most effective at converting visitors into paying customers. The most successful designs that emerge from the post-test analysis are then incorporated into your website.
The testing is conducted on a live sample section of your traffic, meaning that ultimately the critical elements of your website design are based on the behaviour of the people that really matter – your customers. It’s non-invasive, so your customers don’t experience any inconvenience, and it even ensures that returning visitors see the same design variation each time they re-visit.
Multivariate testing is relatively simple in principle, but the devil is in the detail. So to make all of this really work for your company we’ve built some real analytical value and design expertise into our service, helping us arrive at your website’s best possible configuration faster – saving you money and time.
M-VAP - making websites more profitable.
We’re now rolling out M-VAP Multivariate Analysis in direct response to demand from our existing SEO customers, due in no small part to the resounding success of our initial test clients – one of whom more than doubled their sales in just a two month period!
Our M-VAP Multivariate Analysis service offers a common sense approach to maximising your ROI and getting ahead of your competition – double the benefit.
