Link selling is pretty self explanatory. It’s the process by which a site will provide links for other websites, in exchange for payment. It’s also something which is most definitely frowned upon by Google, as paid links tend to create an uneven playing field. They skew search results in favour of the sites with the deepest pockets, rather than those which provide the most relevant search results.
