What some of our people say about us…
Matt Keeshan – Sales Team Leader (Peterborough)

Let’s be honest money is important, and it’s definitely true that you can reap the rewards at WMG if you put in the effort. But money’s not everything - enjoying your work is just as important. I joined WMG just over two years ago and in truth it took me a little while to understand a subject I’d never looked at before, let alone sold! The Company is developing great new products all the time so staying on top of it all is a must, but it makes things really exciting and now I feel I can add real value to my Clients. It’s great to be working for a fast growing company in such an exciting market, and since I’m a team leader now, things are only going to get better from here. Outside of my office duties, I’m proud to run and play for the official The WebMarketing Group Football Team, who have just completed their first season and finished as league champions!
Debbie Smith – Sales Team Leader (Sheffield)

I started with WMG four years ago and just recently applied to help get the new Sheffield office up and running, which is where I am now. The thing I love the most about WMG is the closeness in the teams. We’re not exactly in each other’s pockets, but we’re all very supportive of each other. That feeling carries over to the clients and I like to think that I’m pretty close to them; in fact I can call some of them my friends now.
Arvinder Matharu – Sales Team Leader (Peterborough)

Having a career rather than just a job is very important to me and that’s why I came to WMG. I wanted a company that would help me grow and develop and teach me new skills, and that’s exactly what’s happened. I now run a successful team and we have several household-name clients, as well as many more much smaller companies. One of the things I like most about working here is the number of opportunities that come along which allow me to try new things or even work in different locations. But the real amazing thing is that right through this recession we just seem to keep on growing, so we must be doing something right!
Carl Hallam – New Media Executive (Peterborough)

I haven’t been here that long, but with a background in sales I’m at the stage now where I’m making a significant contribution to my team and the Company. WMG’s training is very good, but it needs to be because the products we sell are all part of the new wave that is ‘new media’. It’s quite a structured and disciplined environment here, but we have to make sure we continue to deliver a consistently high quality of service to our clients. I like the fact that we set our standards very high and aim to hit them.
Taryn Mitchell – Marketing Services Executive (All locations)

My story is a little different since I didn’t really apply for one of the standard jobs being advertised, but sort of created one during my interview. I was talking about some of the systems I’d used in the past to help sales teams, and before I knew what was happening I was on board helping to design and implement a whole host of new internal systems that would help the WMG sales guys handle and generate leads. That’s what I like about WMG, you can get things moving very fast, and because at heart it’s a creative company, new ideas are always welcomed. It certainly keeps things interesting.
