Gordon Brown believes that the UK should recognise the changes digital services make to our lives and that we should be the "flag-bearer" for the digital world.
The Labour leader has clearly been witness to the faltering traditonal media industry and sees digital media as the best way to overcome the impact of the economic downturn on traditional forms of media.
