The power of Google has taken a different turn recently, with the news that socialite Paris Hilton doesn’t keep a diary…she simply Google’s herself.
This is supposedly to remind her of what she has been up to, proving that the Internet houses a plethora of information, from past events to the latest news. So, why wouldn’t Paris Google herself? Even non-celebrities will admit to Googling their names every once in a while, since it just adds a bit of excitement. Its rather pleasing to see your name on Page 1 of Google…
Of course, you can type even the most obscure things into Google and get a result, so we all know that the Google is a very powerful medium. As we have already seen, celebrities are writing blogs and writing updates on Twitter, so it comes as no surprise that Paris Hilton uses Google to keep up to date with her own happenings…its likely that there are hundreds of other celebrities that do too, but they might not admit it!
