A team of people from Webevents is preparing to walk a 9-mile route for Charity later this year. On May 6th, a group of 17 staff members from the Harrogate office, together with family and friends, will be walking a 9 mile route that will take in Pateley Bridge and Brimham Rocks. The idea is to raise money for two charities:
- MacMillan Cancer Relief
- Special Care Baby Unit
The walkers are hoping to raise £1000 in sponsorship for the walk, which will be split equally between the two charities. They're hoping for a nice sunny day and a good pub at the end of the day! We'll keep you posted with pictures of the walkers and let you know how much we raise in total.
In addition, some members of staff will be running the Harrogate leg of the Race for Life, to raise money for research into the causes of and cures for cancer. The Race for Life takes place on May 10th, so May will be an active month all round for Webevents.
