Here at WMG, we are always looking for inspiration from creative and PR campaigns found online and offline. These are just some of our favourites from the week ending September 1st. as chosen by Bethany Harban, Junior Digital PR Strategist.
‘Everyday Objects’…. (just not at the ‘everyday’ price!)
An alarm clock, plate and ruler, 3 things you could probably buy for under £10? Not at Tiffany & Co. In November, Tiffany & Co launched their new ‘Everyday Objects’ ranging from a $155 coffee cup to a $1000 tin can! Possibly not the prices we would expect to pay for those everyday essentials. With an aim to give practical objects a more extravagant appeal-it certainly did that! Despite gasps of horror at some of the prices, the campaign was well received, being covered by many national news sites including The Guardian, The Sun and Business Insider.
The Bill of Health
Ever wondered how much your ill-health problems are contributing to the NHS crisis? Well, now you can find out! *queue gasps of horror* This week, a new interactive tool was launched by GoCompare letting the public work out how expensive those aches and pains can be. This campaign has been well-received so far, being covered on national news sites (Express, Daily Mail).
Christmas with Coca-Cola!
Every year, we always look out for the iconic Coca Cola advert. This year it gets even better with Laterooms.com offering the public the chance to win a night’s stay in the one and only Coca Cola truck! The truck is located in a secret London venue, has a cosy Christmas vibe and, of course, a fridge full of Coca-Cola! The campaign has been hugely successful, being picked up by most of the major nationals. Best.Sleepover.Ever.
