The Web Marketing Group Team’s Race for Life
The Web Marketing Group Race for Life team is busy collecting sponsorship money after successfully finishing the Harrogate event on May 11th at the Yorkshire Showground.
Completing the 5km course with 3,000 other female participants, and watched by 3,500 supporters, our runners were hoping to contribute to a grand total of £125,000, which is the target set by the organisers of the Harrogate race – one of 117 Race for Life events around the country. So far, the Web Marketing Group has raised around £700, with more money to come in. All the money raised will go to Cancer Research UK which has raised £70m through Race for Life since it began in 1994. We’re delighted that we could take part in the Race for Life and our thanks go to all the people who supported us. Hopefully, we’ll get our breath back in time to enter again next year . . .
